ROMA legend Daniele De Rossi is set to join Los Angeles FC.  The 35-year-old was controversially let go by the Serie A giants last month after making over 600 appearances for the club.  Fans launched a furious protest after the decision was announced, before going on to give him a stunning send-off in his final game at the Stadio Olimpico.  Now after being a one-club man since 2001, the Italian is searching for his next move.  And ESPN claim the veteran has agreed to go Stateside.  De Rossi is currently on vacation in LA and has used the time to thrash out a contract with the recently-formed side.  Argentina powerhouses Boca Juniors were also keen on the 2006 World Cup winner.  And Calcio Mercato claim he could still end up appearing for them BEFORE he heads to America.  They state he will meet Boca officials, which include sporting director and his former Roma team-mate Nicolas Burdisso, within 48 hours.  Boca are intending to offer him a contract until December 31, 2019.  That would secure his services for their Copa Libertadores campaign but then allow him to link-up with LAFC in the New Year ahead of their season kicking off.  Further reports in the Italian media claim De Rossi is already looking at schools for his daughter in Buenos Aires.  The MLS season runs from March to October and he is expected to join former Arsenal ace Carlos Vela within the Los Angeles ranks for the 2020 campaign. Furious Roma fans protest against club's ruthless De Rossi contract snub
