These exercises improves our ankle stability. By doing these exercises we strengthen the ligaments, tendons and muscles necessary to improve the strength of the ankle joint. They also improve our balance sense proprioception, which means our awareness of the body in space. Strengthening this balance sense, also improve our performance and reduces the risk of ankle sprains.
