Hifumi Abe (Japanese: 阿 部 一 二三, born August 9, 1997) is a Japanese judo wrestler.
Abe is the current featherweight world champion. In 2014, Abe rose to fame, becoming the young Olympic champion. This year, he won the Tokyo Grand Slam, just 17 years old, defeating world champion Masashi Ebinum at the time. He was a silver medalist at the Youth World Championships in Fort Lauderdale.
Abe is also the current welterweight at the All-American Judo Championship.
